# Gemini 4 Argon

> Google's Gemini 4 Argon language model. See supported inputs, parameters, pricing, response fields, and API examples.

Gemini 4 Argon is Google's frontier model and the first Gemini 4 release, built for long-horizon coding, finance, legal, cybersecurity, and science work. It accepts text, image, video, audio, and PDF input with a 1M-token window shared by input and output, and returns up to 64K output tokens per response. Reasoning effort is tunable with `reasoning_effort` set to `low`, `medium` (default), or `high`; `minimal` is not supported. `temperature`, `top_p`, and `top_k` have no effect on this model. Long reasoning at `high` can take a minute or more, so set client timeouts with headroom.
