# GPT 6.1 Sol

> OpenAI's GPT 6.1 Sol language model. See supported inputs, parameters, pricing, response fields, and API examples.

GPT 6.1 Sol is OpenAI's upgrade to GPT 6 Sol, released on September 29, 2026. It comes close to GPT 6 Astra on agentic coding, computer use, and professional work. It accepts text and image input, returns text, has a context window of about 1 million tokens with up to 128,000 output tokens, and supports `reasoning_effort` from `low` to `max`.
