# SeeDance 2.5 Draft

> Generate a low-cost 480p SeeDance 2.5 draft, then render the same video natively at 1080p from the same task.

Try ideas cheaply with a 480p SeeDance 2.5 draft. When you like a result, render that exact video at 1080p by passing the draft's task ID.

<Note>
  The 480p and 1080p versions are both generated natively from the same task, without any external upscaler. The 1080p render keeps the draft's prompt, duration, aspect ratio, and references.

## How it works

1. **Draft:** send a normal SeeDance 2.5 request. The output is always 480p.
2. **Render in 1080p:** when the draft is `completed`, send a new request with only `draft_task_id` set to the draft's `task_id`. All other fields are ignored, because everything comes from the draft.

In the [playground](https://unifically.com/models/seedance-2.5?model=draft), choose **Draft** on the SeeDance 2.5 page and paste a finished draft's task ID into **Draft Task ID**.

## Parameters

The draft accepts the same inputs and limits as [SeeDance 2.5](/models/video/bytedance/seedance-2.5).

The draft must be `completed`. A draft can be rendered in 1080p more than once; each render is a new task.
