# Topaz Starlight Fast 2

> Fast, affordable generative video restoration and upscaling with Topaz Starlight Fast 2. See parameters, pricing, and API examples.

Topaz's fast diffusion restoration model. It rebuilds real detail in old, blurry, compressed, or low-resolution footage instead of only sharpening it.

## When to use

* **Your default for restoring video.** Old family videos, phone clips, low-bitrate streams, archival footage.
* You process a lot of footage and want the best quality per dollar.

**Pick something else when:**

* Quality matters more than cost: use [Starlight Precise 2.6](/models/video/topaz-labs/starlight-precise-2.6).
* The footage is already clean and HD and you want 4K: use [Starlight HQ](/models/video/topaz-labs/starlight-hq).
* You want a creative, stylised result: use [Astra 2](/models/video/topaz-labs/astra-2).

  Billed per second of the input video, counted at 30 fps: a 60 fps upload counts double and a 24 fps upload 0.8x, because every source frame is processed. Output `fps` does not change the price. `1440p` and `4k` use the 4K rate.

## Parameters

| `nsfw_check` | boolean | No | `true` | Check uploaded media inputs for NSFW content |
